Where Are The Best BBQ Joints in Capital Region?

There are so many amazing restaurants in the Capital Region, and some phenomenal barbecue eateries. We have compiled the top five barbecue joints according to Yelp reviews.

There is one that came in at number five just a year ago, but the owners had decided to close it. It was Rolling Smoke in Halfmoon. Their pulled pork, ribs, and pretty much everything barbecued on the menu was amazing. I know a lot of people in the Capital Region miss that place.

Another amazing barbecue restaurant that happens to be my all-time favorite comes in at #2. However, there are rumors that they may be permanently closed.

The owners of PJ's Bar-B-QSA closed in October for the winter. But there is speculation that they are not reopening. They usually are open in the spring. We are well into spring, and still no word on when or if they will open. I, along with many others, am hoping it's just a rumor.
