Beloved Capital Region Tavern Group Reveals Plan For New Taco Joint
A Capital Region favorite is getting ready to branch out for a new taco cantina.
Whenever the Tipsy Moose Tap & Tavern comes up in conversation, the words "I love that place!" are always voiced. Known for its great eats and beer list at all three of its locations in Latham, Troy, and Albany, the Moose is a local favorite to gather with family and friends. All three locations have become super popular over the years!
According to the Times Union, the Tipsy Moose owners are getting ready to add a special "sibling" to the tavern group with a culinary wrinkle inspired by their super successful Taco Tuesdays.
Tipsy Moose Announces New Tipsy Taco Cantina
The Tipsy Moose has announced plans and summertime opening for a new "Mexican-themed cantina" called the Tipsy Taco, according to a Times Union story. The new eatery will be located at a Latham strip mall at 704 New Loudon Road. The Tipsy owners tell the TU the menu will feature "the expected staples along with vegetarian options...seasonally influenced shareables...and a large tequila selection."
We have definitely seen a pretty good influx of new Mexican eateries, specifically, taco-focused restaurants, opening locally over the last few years. We love to see that trend continue and based on the quality and service at the existing Tipsy Moose locations, we can expect great eats from this new cantina!
