Governor Cuomo has a proposal on the table that would allow all movie theaters to sell alcohol.

Currently, it is only legal for a movie theater with full table service and restaurant style food to serve booze, according to the Democrat and Chronicle. Cuomo's new proposal would allow movie theaters to sell adult beverages, regardless of their seating style. The new law is part of the Governor's budget plan, and could allow theaters to apply for liquor licenses as soon as April.

I feel like New York is behind on a lot of these newer laws, right? Booze in movie theaters is a relatively new concept, and one that I love. It's kind of like going to a ball game. Choose your favorite movie, and grab popcorn and a beer right?

Now, if we can just...get...UBER!!!
