We all rely on products to make life easier with our children and trust that they are safe. There is a popular baby product that has been proven to be faulty. The item was sold exclusively at Target and a recall has been issued.  According to simplemost.com, the baby carriers exclusively sold at Target stores are being recalled and if you purchased one, you are entitled to a refund. The 2017 Eddie Bauer Fabric Infant Carrier sold between December 2017 and August 2018 are said to have faulty buckles and could cause the infant to fall.

The name on the front of the Eddie Bauer recalled carrier says “Eddie Bauer” and “First Adventure". There have been eight incidents where the buckles have broken. This would constitute a falling hazard but according to the recall statement, no injuries have been reported.

If you think you do have a recalled baby carrier you must follow the instructions to get a full refund. You will need to cut off and return both straps and the tag. Gold Inc (the parent company) will provide a prepaid shipping label through the post office. You can get that label HERE along with replacement products. You will also need to include your name, address, and phone number inside the package you return to be eligible for a full refund or a replacement.
