Avengers Star A Real Life Superhero For Shen’s Jacob Monday (PIC)

Jacob Monday is the terminally ill Shen sophomore whom an entire community is rallying behind.  The 16 year old has decided to forego another round of chemo and spend the rest of his days fullfilling the wishes he's laid out with a bucket list of adventures that include indoor skydiving, standing under a waterfall and perhaps even meeting someone famous like actor Chris Pratt, star of the Avengers, Monday's favorite movie.  But on this day, it was Pratt who became a big fan of Jacob and the Instagram post that Pratt made for his new buddy is one of the kindest, inspiring, and classy things you'll ever see for a  young man living every day like it's his last.

Students and teachers alike at Shenendehowa High School are raising money to help the terminally ill Monday complete his bucket list. They're calling it "Shen For Monday," for Jacob Monday and it's been incredibly successful as they were able to make this moment happen!  Just great stuff...

Dear world, This is my new pal Jacob Monday. @j8ke.monday He is a 16 year old kid from upstate New York with a unique and powerful story. He was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer. He recently decided to stop treatment and is currently checking things off his bucket list. Needless to say he and his family have been through a lot.
