The New York Giants have some serious offseason moves that they will need to make.  I am extremely confident in new General Manager Joe Schoen and Head Coach Brian Daboll.  They have a very strong chemistry from Buffalo and I think they will bring that along with their knowledge of the game, to the Giants organization.  Here is my quick take on this from the Times Union:

The Giants are releasing players to save money against the Salary Cap, but I hope they don’t get rid of running back Saquon Barkley. Saquon has not been the same since his rookie season, and he wasn’t 100 percent in 2021 after recovering from a torn ACL. That being said, Barkley is still too talented of a player to give up on. An improved offensive line would do wonders, and Barkley deserves another shot to prove what he’s still capable of doing. General Manager Joe Schoen has some tough calls to make, but with an offensive minded head coach in Brian Daboll, there has to be a place in the starting lineup for Barkley.

Michael Johnson Jr. and I had a conversation on what we think the Giants will do this offseason and also gave our takes on Saquon Barkley and Daniel Jones.  Below is our full conversation on this from yesterday.

I really like what Joe Schoen said regarding Daniel Jones.  He said he has the size, talent, and athletic ability.  Schoen and Daboll will surely develop Jones and I hope the Giants decide to keep Saquon Barkley.  While MJ disagrees with me on both, one thing we do agree on is that the Giants need to bolster their offensive line and really improve this team during the offseason.
