More Farmer’s Markets Near Albany Means Free and Healthy Fun

With Memorial Day (the unofficial first day of summer) upon us, maybe you’re thinking about something that you can do which is healthy and fun, this summer.

Jake did a blog about the Farmer’s market in Albany. I have one that will be starting on June 4, and is open every Saturday from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., until September 24. It will be at The Crossing of Colonie. There will be plenty of local vendors there. Not only fresh produce from are farms, like George’s Market, Bowman Orchards and more, you’ll also be able to get some other goodies from place like Bird Haven Bakery and Sherry's Kitchen.

Bring the kids. If they start to get a little rambunctious they can go over to the playground and burn off some energy.

When you’re done, everyone can take a walk on the trails of The Crossing. Fresh Veggies and a walk in one place: A healthy combination. The Crossing of Colonie is conveniently located at 580 Albany-Shaker Road, near exit 4 of the Northway.
