The American Girl doll company is following suit with Fisher-Price and Mattel in creating front line hero dolls and action figures to benefit different hero organizations. The American Girl doll is offering accessories to dress up your doll to make them into a hero. According to Good Morning America, you have the opportunity to dress up your American Girl doll to look like a health care superhero that has been working on the front lines during the coronavirus pandemic. They are offering a new, special edition scrubs outfit for the #tThankYouHeroes.

Included in the scrubs outfit are pink scrub pants, slip-on shoes, a colorful scrub top, and a matching face mask that fits any American Girl doll. With every special-edition scrub outfit sold, American Girl will donate one doll craft activity book to the First Responder Children's Foundation.

There is also a contest called Heroes With Heart that the American Girl doll company is running that honors a front line worker that has gone above and beyond. You can nominate a hero that has made a difference in their lives. It could be any front line worker. A grocery store clerk, delivery driver, city employee, farmer, or anyone else that has put themselves at risk to keep us safe during the pandemic.

To enter, you must submit a photo and tell how their nominee is supporting their community. American Girl will then select five Grand Prize winners who will get a custom-made American Girl doll and outfit in the hero's likeness that will be given to them. The nominator will receive a two hundred dollar American Girl gift card.  The deadline to enter is June 26th. To enter, click HERE.
