I don't know where to even start with this video. Actually I do, I should start by saying both the dog and his owner are fine. This is an amazing video of a dog owner getting on an elevator and the dog, attached by a leash, getting caught on the wrong side of the doors.

The video is in three parts, first you will see the elevator camera to get the point of view from the owner. You can't help but wonder where in the heck this guy's mind was, he was certainly distracted because as the doors close on the elevator he is FACING the dog. Then all you can feel is pity as you see the shear panic that takes over when he realizes what he just did. He also takes a pretty good hit to the head on the doors at the elevator rises.

The second part is from the hall camera and gives you the perspective of the dog. When you watch the first part you can't help but wonder why the dog doesn't get on the elevator as he has probably done thousands of times before, turns out its a neighbor talking to him as the door closes. Again it's hard to believe as you see the dog lifted like seven feet off the ground, but he really was just fine, luckily. I shutter to think what could have happened if that leash hadn't broke so easily.

The third part is the same scene played in real time simultaneously. Truly remarkable video. I'd love to get your perspective on this, feel free to leave me your comments at the bottom of the page. And yes, since both dog and owner are fine, I don't mind if you make crass but funny comments as well. And by all means feel free to share this blog with your friends!
