A Classic Weekend at The Baseball Hall of Fame

One thing I love for sure is taking the show on the road. This weekend we get to do something really cool and you can be a part of it. On Friday morning, then again Saturday morning ( a special broadcast) we will be live from the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. We will be there for the Hall of Fame Classic weekend and there will be lots of things for you to enjoy if you decide to come as well.

On Saturday the 18th, there will be all sorts of events and both educational and entertaining and give- aways as well. You can sample local fare from central New York businesses as well. I think the best part is you can do all of this for free, with your advantage card from Price Chopper. Those with an Advantage Card will get free admission to the Hall of Fame on Saturday.

Then on Sunday, which conveniently is also Father's Day you can enjoy the

Cooperstown Main Street Parade featuring the players in the game. Then it's off to Doubleday Field for hitting competitions at 1:00pm and the Hall of Fame Classic Game at 2:00pm.  This year will feature seven Hall of Famers,Jim Rice, Ozzie Smith, Phil Niekro, Andre Dawson, Tony Perez, Dick Williams and my favorite this year, Goose Gossage.

There will also be 20 other former Major League stars including, Dale Murphy, Doug Glanville, Dave Henderson, Roggie Sanders to name just a few.
