Trump Takes Stage at the World's Most Famous Arena
One week before arguably one of the most critical political elections in years, former President Donald Trump held a rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Trump, looking to reinvigorate his fan base and possibly gain some traction with undecided voters, spoke to 20,000 fans, dignitaries, and celebrities who were also in attendance on Sunday.
Packed House at MSG Included Many Celebs
Sources say that by 10 a.m. on Sunday, more than 10,000 people were waiting in line near the venue. By 3 p.m., the New York Post reported that the Garden was 85% full, and by that time, the NYPD was actually turning people away.
"Thousands of supporters stuffed into pens in Midtown Manhattan ahead of the rally, despite heavy security and a complete lack of toilet facilities — around 2,000 camping out overnight as long as 48 hours before the event." NY Post
Of the 20,000 in attendance, many were celebrities and dignitaries who have pledged their allegiance to the former president over the years. Tucker Carlson, Dana White, Elon Musk, Dr. Phil, and even the self-professed "Trumpamaniac" Hulk Hogan were at the Garden to speak to the rabid fanbase.
