2 Capital Region Cinemas Reveal 10-Week $1 Kids Movie Series for Summer 2025

While Summertime can be a blast for kids with no school, it can be a challenge for parents on 2 levels. It's not only difficult filling all that free time with fun activities, but it's also a challenge doing so affordably.

2 Capital Region movie theatres are helping on both levels with their summer-long family-friendly movie series.

Scene One Cineams Announces $1 Kids Movie Series Summer 2025

A movie for a dollar? That is an outright bargain!

Scene One Cinemas, with locations at the Wilton Mall and 400 State Street in Schenectady, has announced its Kids Movie Series for summer 2025. Not only is it 10 weeks of great entertainment for the whole family, but the price is right at $1 a ticket for this season-long series.

Every Wednesday from June 19th through August 20th, a different movie will be shown at 11 am.

This series will bring some family classics back to the big screen all summer long! Here is the full Kids Movie Series schedule for summer 2025:

• Wednesday, June 25th: An American Tail
• Wednesday, July 2nd:The Bad Guy
• Wednesday, July 9th: The Wld Robot
• Wednesday, July 16th: Shrek 2
• Wednesday, July 23rd: Dispicable Me 4
• Wednesday, July 30th: Sing
• Wednesday, August 6th: Kungfu Panda 4
• Wednesday, August 13th: The Land Before Time
• Wednesday, August 20th: Minions: The Rise Of Gru
