Happy Monday my friends! Well, today I did something a little different than last week. Not only, did I not start the morning monologue with an Osama Bin Laden joke, I didn't even do one at all. Your welcome. So lets take a look at what we did cover in today's monologue...

Who says morning radio doesn't have it's pressures?  I get in this morning, bleary eyed from a long weekend in Florida, and my morning show cohorts challenged me to take the theme song "Welcome Back, Kotter" and make the subject matter about the recent demise of Osama Bin Laden.  Well guys-BRING IT ON!

You can say what you want pro or con about President Obama, but at least he's realistic.  At least he's a little bit sensitive to the interests of the  politically conscious, news hungry American public.  Get this-

The President is one busy, stressed out guy.  Libya, the economy, those pesky questions about his birthplace.   It's enough to make a world leader CRAZY.  He needs a diversion.  And maybe he's found it!

Have you noticed?  Hard not to, isn't it?  Is it age or is it stress?  There are two schools of thought here...

And you think the President is having trouble in this country getting his agenda pushed through?  You should see how he's perceived overseas, like in Austria!

President Obama just completed his state of the union address, as mandated by the constitution. This year was far less political than previous years and even inspiring at some points. Here are some shots from tonight's speech.

Air Force One is expected to set its landing gear down at Albany International Airport tomorrow (Friday) just after noon.  And yes, President Obama will be on board.

Weather depending,  President Obama will be making his way to the Capital Region.  To be more precise, he's stopping in on the city of Schenectady.

The White House just announced that President Obama will be visiting the Capital District again on Tuesday.
