The next time you visit IHOP in Albany of Clifton Park, it may no longer be all about the pancakes.

According a New York Post story, IHOP is changing it's name to IHOb. Maybe your first though was this is a joke or a publicity stunt, but the Post did confirm with the breakfast chain the name change is real!

IHOP, or I should say IHOb, will be giving a reason for the name change on Monday. The chain made the announcement on Twitter today saying 'For 60 pancakin’ years, we’ve been IHOP. Now, we’re flippin’ our name to IHOb. Find out what it could b on 6.11.18.'

The New York Post story says the 'b' could stand for breakfast which would make sense. But who doesn't know IHOP serves breakfast? Maybe the 'b' stands for bacon? Or butter? Or batter?

Or maybe this is a name change, but only a temporary one. We'll find out on Monday! Whatever you do IHOb, don't mess with the pancakes, ok?
