What a great group. These kids were ROCKIN'!   Well, what else would you expect from Mrs Toher's classes?  Another great experience at Yates Elementary School  in Schenectady

I love it when a plan comes together.  The plan was to create a song for the upcoming Anti-Bullying week that we are planning on WGNA

In fact I am partnering  once again with the Academy for Character Education at The Sage Colleges and also with the cities of Albany and Cohoes to kick off October's Bullying Awareness MONTH.  Albany County District Attorney David Soares' office has a special initiative they have put together The WORDS program. (Words can hurt or heal!)   You can read all about it here in an article from the Troy Record.

Here are Mrs. Toher's 3rd graders and their brilliant creation.

Would you like to get on the Reading, Writing and Rhyming Tour? Send me an email at Richie@wgna.com.  You must be a teacher to apply, and the class must be 2nd graders  and up.  (I'll even come to middle school music classes! )
