I've never had to plan a wedding but I've heard from friends about how stressful it is. How about this, a chance to not have to worry about all of it and you could get married at a brand new venue in a pretty unique way.

The Great New York State Fair has announced a contest looking for a couple who would like to get married at the 2018 Fair but in a way you've never heard of before. News10 is reporting that the couple who wins the contest will be getting married in ice skates instead of shoes.

Enter to win on the Fair's Facebook page and you could win the opportunity to get married on the new temporary ice rink they're installing inside the new Exhibition Center, which will be "the largest events space north of New York City between Boston and Cleveland."

Wedding guests and your wedding party will not have to wear skates (if they don't want to) but you must say your vows on skates and you must have a marriage license. The Fair will provide an officiant but the couple may bring their own, they will also provide a photographer, a cocktail reception, and a performer (Just Joe). You must get married on September 1st and all guests will receive parking and admission for the day. If you're chosen as the couple, you receive lifetime passes as a wedding gift and 10 other entries will be randomly chosen to receive two single-day admissions and parking pass. You have until August 31 to enter via the Great New York State Fair Facebook page.
