1994- The Wildhorse Saloon opens. Restless Heart performs at the opening, after a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Marty Stuart and Tanya Tucker. House bands include Lonestar, Ricochet, Trick Pony and Sons of the Desert. The Wildhorse Saloon is also the platform for a popular Country line dance show on The Nashville Network.

1991- Diamond Rio goes to No. 1 with their first hit 'Meet In The Middle.'

1974- Ronnie Milsap has his first No. 1 with 'Pure Love.' The song is written by Eddie Rabbitt.

1964- Dolly Parton moves to Nashville a day after her high school graduation, and meets her future husband, Carl Dean, at a laundromat.

Ronnie Dunn, 1953. Half of the duo Brooks and Dunn. Dunn sings lead on 'Neon Moon' 'Boot Scootin' Boogie' and 'Little Miss Honky Tonk' before going solo in 2011 with 'Bleed Red.'
