It was announced a few weeks ago that HBO would be setting up in the Village of Catskill to film their latest "Pretty Little Liars" series. They were scoping out various locations for the backdrop of the TV series that would premiere on HBOMax. They were looking at the cemetery, neighborhood streets, and homes. After approval from the village, they got the green light to film. Now they need you. They are searching for local extras.
Filming is getting underway at the end of this month and HBO plans on being in the Village of Catskill to complete the new series of "Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin" from through January. They are seeking many locals to fill the roles of extras in the series. They are hoping to cast those who are between the ages of eighteen and thirty-five. They are specifically looking for locals in the towns of Saugerties, Hudson, and Catskill according to News 10 ABC. These are paid background extra positions.
The pay isn't bad either. If you are a SAG-AFTRA union member, you could make one hundred eighty-two dollars for eight hours plus overtime. If you are not a member you would get fifteen dollars per hour plus one hundred fifty percent overtime if you work over eight hours. Plus if you are a priority or recurring extra you may receive specialty pay. You must also be tested for COVID but be reimbursed.

This version of "Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin" will be about a series of tragic events that happened twenty years ago in a blue-collar town called Millwood and nearly tore the town apart. According to a press release from Warner Media, "A group of present-day, disparate teen girls find themselves tormented but an unknown assailant and made to pay for the secret sin their parents committed two decades ago as well as their own."
