Wanna Meet Kane Brown? Bid On Duct-Taped Candy Cane
In a classic case of 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder' a banana duct-taped to the wall sold as "art" for $120,000 n Miami last week. A banana, like the kind you have laying around your house right now, slowly turning brown, just waiting to be peeled...that banana. The GNA morning show decided to do a little art experiment of our own, so Jess and I took a candy cane, duct-taped that sucker to the the back of some cardboard, and we're taking the highest bidder in our silent auction right now. The highest silent bid that we get from now until 9 am on Friday, December 13th will not only claim the candy cane but will win a pair of tickets to the show and 2 passes to MEET Kane Brown when he comes to the Times Union on March 6th! This will be a silent auction so you won't know what dollar amount or who you're bidding against. You may bid multiple times, but only your highest dollar amount will ultimately will be counted and accepted.
Money from winning bid will go to GNA's Shop with a Cop charity that allows local, less fortunate children a chance to do some Christmas shopping with local law enforcement.
In the event we have multiple highest bids that are the same amount, we will choose a random bid and award them the tickets. Tickets and meet and greets will be fulfilled upon presentation of the donation by the winning bidder. In the event winning bidder cannot fulfill donation, and alternate bidder will be chosen for the tickets/meet and greets using the process above.
