Buffalo Bills edge rusher extraordinaire, Von Miller, knows a thing or two about hitting an opposing quarterback. In a way, Miller has made his living off of disrupting and tackling quarterbacks, specifically. However, as the Bills Mafia paced nervously, awaiting news on Josh Allen's injured elbow, Miller offered Buffalo his services on the other side of the football.

“I could go out there and play quarterback,” Miller told friend of The Drive with Charlie & Dan, Matt Parrino of syracuse.com on Wednesday. “Probably not like (Allen or backup Case Keenum), but if I’m throwing to Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis and Dawson Knox, and I got these running backs still, I think I can do some stuff.” Von Miller is such an outstanding athlete, few people should doubt him.

However, the self-proclamation of starting QB jokes were not a shot at the Buffalo Bills capable back-up, Case Keenum. Miller played with Keenum in Denver back in 2018. “I’m excited for Case if he has the opportunity to go out there and play,” Miller told syracuse.com. “If Josh can tough it out and play, then I’m excited for him too. So, it really doesn’t matter who we got out there. I got belief in all those guys 100%.”

Von Miller is a winner. Though he joked about playing quarterback, if head coach Sean McDermott asked Miller to play QB, the defensive star doesn't seem like he would think twice about it, even if embarrassment were a possible outcome. Miller is a winner and is ready every-single snap to help his team get over the top. That's how winners play the game.
