UPDATE: When I wrote this story just a few short days ago all the pundits said Joe would be running, now he has officially announced he is NOT. SO much for the pundits.

I can't say I am surprised, but multiple sources are now saying that Joe Biden's announcement that he will indeed be running for President is imminent. What I do find myself wondering is if this will change how anyone feels about the election if he does run. Will you now switch and plan to vote for the Vice President? Were you hoping that he would enter the race to give Democrats another option?

I must admit that I have found it odd that while the Republicans have 200,000 candidates running and at least 4 or 5 of them pretty viable, the Democrats have basically two viable candidates. Well, until now.

Whether you agree with the current administration's policies or not really wont matter in the long run. While Joe Biden has served as Vice President for eight years it does not mean that he has agreed with some, any or all of President Obama's policies. A fact that I imagine he may set out to show people right away. IF he can indeed separate himself from his boss and still carry the experience he has had these last years into the campaign, I have to wonder if he wouldn't be a very formidable for Hillary and Sanders.

What are your thoughts?
