Upstate Casting Call: Get Paid $88 A Day
Lately our area has been buzzing with television and movie filming. Now there is another movie being filmed just south of the Capital Region and they need extras. Here's who they are looking for. A new movie will be filming in the Hudson Valley and they are looking for a specific kind of extras. According to newyorkupstate.com, movie star, David Arquette, is looking to hire large Italian men for a movie called "Apalachin".
The movie is set in the 1950's and is based on a true story about a trooper (played by Arquette) who uncovers a plan for a mobster summit to happen with over fifty gang members gathering in the small town of Apalachin.
If you are interested in being an extra, they are looking for non-union, large Italian looking men. The movie is being shot in the Newburgh area and the pay is $88.80 plus overtime per day. The shooting will take place for three days. September 8th, 11th and 12th.
