Two Teens Arrested In Mechanicville Homicide

Being from Mechanicville and still having family there, it was disturbing news when nineteen year old David Feliciano was shot and killed on Monday night in his driveway. The police and investigators were not giving out any information until this morning. The Mechanicville Police along with the New York State Police Major Crimes Unit, Forensic Identification Unit and investigators from Saratoga, Rensselaer and Washington Counties all assisted in the investigation that led to the arrest of two teens.

Investigators were seen entering the home at 42 Grove Street, where the homicide took place, in full protective gear. They were also asking for surveillance video from neighbors to gather more information.

This is the first homicide in twenty years in my hometown. Many residents think it was drug related, we will have to wait and see. I hope friends, family and citizens of Mechanicville can breathe a little easier that they have made arrests in this case.
