Fairs are an important part of our summers here in upstate New York. The state, county, or local fairs are a ton of fun for the whole family. There are several scattered throughout the state, and many have been around for over one hundred years.

The Great Schaghticoke Fair 2025 celebrates its 206th season from August 27th to September 1st. On opening day, Wednesday, August 27th, they are celebrating with $2 Day. This means admission is $2, select food items are also $2, and rides are $2 (a minimum of 10 must be purchased).
