With just $2 admission on opening day, families can dive into a summer tradition filled with food, fun, and unforgettable memories.

Upstate New York offers many different attractions during the summer. One of those is the state, county, or local fair. There are several scattered throughout the state and many have been around for over one hundred years.

Last month, a devastating fire wiped out over two-hundred care packages ready to be sent as part of the Adopt A Soldier program. Now the Great Escape is stepping up to help replenish those packages and offer a discount in return.

Cooking Thanksgiving dinner is serious work, I don't even cook it and my anxiety is already kicking in!  It's time consuming, expensive and exhausting. Imagine charging your family $30 a plate to show up and eat turkey.  With Thanksgiving right around the corner, would you pay $30 a plate to literally not have to lift a finger, except of course to feed your face?

There's a very good chance you are far more excited about one of the other FOUR movies coming out this weekend but if you have a child like I do "The Croods" top the list.
