Turns Out, Mom Was Right – Albany Ranked One of New Yorks Most Dangerous

I always said to my Mom, "C'mon Maaaa, you don't have to worry about me, it's not like we live in New York City!" Well, it turns out, I was wrong. Sorry, Mom.

Albany has been ranked one of the most dangerous cities in New York State by ValuePenguin.

The company analyzed 210 places with over 5,000 in population within their study. Their data was collected from the 2014 FBI crime statistics by city, which included property crimes like burglary, larceny and motor vehicle theft and arson, as well as violen crimes from all law enforcement agencies.
