Troy to Host Adult Prom Later This Month

How was your high school prom? Do you look back fondly or do you wish you could have a redo? Now's your chance, an adult prom is coming back to Troy!

According to a recent press release, the 5th annual Troy Adult Prom is taking place at Takk House in Downtown Troy, NY on Saturday, Nov. 30 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. It's like having a second chance at what may not have been the best memory of your teen years. The best part of the adult prom is, if you choose to, you can drink legally!

The theme this year is Enchantment Under the Sea which may sound familiar since it's inspired by the 1950s prom from "Back to the Future." Your ticket price includes an open bar (beer + wine), late-night snacks, a photobooth, live music, and access to a basement after party at Franklin Alley Social Club.

Though there isn't an official prom court, prom King and Queen will be the best dressed couple of the night. The event is 21+ and you can either come single or with friends. Tickets are $75 a piece, or $70 a piece if there's a group of 6 or more of you. Tickets are on sale now.
