The NCAA has announced it will be moving first and second round games from North Carolina to Greenville, South Carolina.

The Times Union Center threw their hat in the ring to host first and second round games for the 2017 tourney after the NCAA announced they were pulling out of North Carolina due to their controversial bathroom law.

According to an article in the Times Union, arena officials are 'dissappointed' but knew it was a 'longshot' to get the games due to fact the tournament already has games scheduled in Buffalo and New York City.
