Texting-While-Driving Led To Trouble For An Albany Man
An Albany man was driving through the East Greenbush area at about 2 a.m. without headlights, according to police
According to a press release from The East Greenbush Police Department, this was noticed by an East Greenbush Police officer who was going to stop him. The man allegedly passed the officer. As he did, the officer noticed the glow of a light on the driver’s face.
When the driver finally stopped, the officer questioned the driver about using his cell phone while he was driving, and not using his headlights. The officer detected alcohol.
Twenty six-year-old Jason S. Quinn was then charged with DWI. He also has additional charges including Driving While Texting, Unregistered Moor Vehicle, Operating Without Headlights and others. Quinn is due back in town court in January.
