College is expensive, but one Upstate New York alumni has made a significant donation to help everyone get the education they want in the Capital Region.

A new scholarship program has been implemented in a well-known chain restaurant to help employees' families. An Upstate New York family was rewarded this year after their father worked for the restaurant for nearly a quarter of a century.

If you have a student (or you are a student) that is looking to score some scholarship money, the Erie County Agricultural Society would like to hear from you.

I didnt do too poorly in high school. I did okay in college. Never got any awards. Never really made the Dean's list that many times.  But I felt fairly intelligent.  Now I don't.
