Radiothon

It was a pretty darn successful morning, if we must say so, and we couldn't do it alone this time. Here is a quick behind the scenes look at some of the folks who gave of their time to join us

Once again we are stopping everything to bring you one of the biggest charity drives we have all year, the radiothon to help St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis.  When we pick up the phone, will you be there for us?  You always have been, and we hope we can count on you again.

The Center for Disability Services 52nd Telethon was held yesterday on WXXA Fox 23.  We, here at WGNA-FM, partnered up with Fox to help with the hosting of the telethon.  Friday was our radiothon and once again, our listeners came through for us.

On Friday, we had a lot of help and success from you (the WGNA listeners) with The Center For Disability Services radiothon on WGNA, and we thank you. This is one of those things that it seems like we can never do enough for.

The Radiothon is on the air, please call 518-381-4720! WGNA needs your help to keep a local institution going strong!  The 3rd Annual Center for Disability services Radiothon is on the air til 7pm on Country 107.7 WGNA-FM.

The Center For Disability Services is an incredible place. Their tag line is “where people get better at life” and we want to help them get better at that with our radiothon, today on WGNA, and the telethon on Sunday on WXXA, Fox 23.

Tomorrow WGNA is going to work for the community, and we need you to make it a success.

We work hard for the community and try to help those whenever we can and the truth is, we can't do it without you.

As anyone that's EVER met me knows I am a rabid New York Yankees fan. So it is my extreme honor to inform you number 62 Joba Chamberlain will be joining us right here in the Capital Region for the 52nd Annual Center For Disability Services Telethon on Sunday, January 29th.

All day Wednesday and Thursday, WGNA hosted the Country Cares For St. Jude Kids Radiothon, and as always, you (our listeners) came through. Do you know why?

Volunteers and and the WGNA staff have been hard at work answering your calls and taking your donations for our St. Jude Radiothon - which we thank you so much for your support. We snapped some photos behind the scenes and wanted to share them with you - including Steve Caporizzo and Richie working the phones. Enjoy!

We had a brief outage with our phone bank for the St Jude radiothon that is happening now and tomorrow (Thursday) on WGNA however the phone company is working hard to restore service and with that comes a new number for you call and donate to help out the kids.
