Jake Owen and his good friends Parmalee are getting into the Christmas spirit their own unique way. The boys released a video on Friday (Dec. 16) for a new song they've created, appropriately titled "Christmas Spirits."

Wednesday was our Secret Star Acoustic Jam and it was an absolutely amazing show. All of the performers were so incredibly talented and super down to earth. My favorite moment was backstage, though. It involved: Me, Parmalee and a ridiculous spelling bee.

This time around was a little different than my first Secret Star back in the Spring; 1) I was more adapted to my position here at GNA 2) I knew what to expect going in 3) I also knew the line up going in which was different for all of us this go around. It really allowed us to know just how big of a deal this show was going to be and man, was it!?!

One of the fun things we get to do when artists come to town is get a quick interview before they go on stage. Bethany and I were looking forward to talking to Parmalee Saturday night at Upstate Concert Hall because these guys are always pretty down to earth and lots of fun to talk to. They did not disappoint us.
