In November, Longfellows near Saratoga Lake announced that it would be closing after over twenty-five years. The restaurant, conference center, and hotel were up for sale. Now there is a buyer and here is what they are planning.

If you have ever been to downtown Cohoes you know that there is steeped history throughout. There is a legendary bar and restaurant that used to be the hangout for Albany County Democrats and is known for its beautiful 50-foot long mahogany bar. Smith's has been in existence since 1937 but was closed in 2020 due to the pandemic. Now it has new owners.

The Van Patten Golf Club in Clifton Park is getting a new owner after fifty-three years but those taking it over say you won't notice much of a difference. That's because it has been run so well and is in excellent condition and they plan to keep it that way.
