I will never understand how people can just discard animals. The story I came across made me think what could have happened to these animals and how fortunate there was a happy ending.

When the Downtown Albany Business Improvement District (BID) first decided to seek artists proposals to decorate Nipper the Dog statues to display in downtown Albany, they had no idea how successful it would be.

By June next year we can expect to see a new home for the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society.

If you know and love Miranda Lambert like we do, you know that she loves to help animals! So, we will be hosting a pet food drive at the Route 50 entrance to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center on Friday night and we need your help to fill the  LITTLE RED WAGON...

WGNA has teamed up with the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society to help animals in need during their Paws in the Park Walk hosted by our very own Sean McMaster! But we need your support to help as many animals as possible.

If you are a hockey lover who is also a dog lover, today is your day to bring your best friend to the Albany Devils game.

Albany Animal Control officers and the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society had their hands full with animal hoarding in two different place in less than a week.

This was a great event.  I'm actually glad that my wife missed it because I would be  feeding 5 dogs and 5 cats this morning if she was!
