For over one hundred years, The Costumer has been outfitting ghouls, goblins, vaudeville shows, and high school theater performances, and now they are gathering their threads and moving to a larger location.

When I first looked at the location of the next potential site for the proposed Amazon warehouse, I had to do a doubletake. It is literally right down the street from where I live now and in the shadow of the Cohoes dump. I think it's an odd location for such a big warehouse. The other locations seem to be in areas with a lot of space and away from residential neighborhoods.

It is finally official. There will be a second Trader Joe's location in the Capital Region in Halfmoon. We have been speculating that one would be built in Saratoga County and we have now got confirmation that the construction that is going on in the area off of Route 9 behind the Red Robin is in fact a Trader Joe's.

A local staple, Fred the Butcher, is expanding and adding a new location in the Capital Region. They are taking over another well-known butcher whose owner retired after forty-six years.

If you ask most people in the Capital Region, the best place for fish frys is Ted's. Well now Saratoga County has a Ted's Fish Fry location to call their own.

Social media can be a scary situation for parents especially when they keep updating and changing everything about each app and service. Snapchat is the latest to cause a commotion and that is with their new "Snap Map."

It's been around since the 80's and is the only walkable Bruegger's location in the Albany area and it has closed its doors for good.
