With the announcement of the Devils leaving Albany, you can't help but remember all the teams before them that did the same.

When I think "Capital Region", one of the things that comes to mind is of course, is the Albany Devils. However, are they really moving to Binghamton?

Many in the Capital Region will never forget the Albany River Rats, I sure won't. Did you know now three former River Rat players are actually head coaches?

This coming hockey season, the 'Albany River Rats' will return for 2 games at the Times Union Center.

Hockey is one sport that I'm still trying to figure out if people truly enjoy, or just the brutal beat downs that are inevitable.

They've renewed their lease with the Times Union Center and one of the Capital Region's biggest sports teams is headed to the playoffs!

It doesn't seem to matter what part of the country I'm in, I always find a little piece of home.

Sure, I love the Giants, Yankees, and the Devils but you wouldn't catch me doing this!! lol

As I watch this video over and over, because I just can't stop watching it, I  hear John Lennon singing, "instant karma gonna get you."  We all know hockey is a violent sport, checking and using the wall to take your opponent off the puck is fully encouraged and accepted. I am fine with that.
