A Capital Region chicken shack has earned another impressive accolade - Food Network named them as New York's best spot for fried chicken.

Hattie's Restaurant is known for having the best fried chicken in the Capital Region and beyond. They have their restaurant and shacks in Saratoga Springs and a spot at the Saratoga Race Course. They are currently renovating an iconic Albany landmark and just announced their head chef for that new location in Albany.

When I heard earlier this week that Hattie's in Saratoga started serving Nashville Hot Chicken, trying it out went to the top of my weekend to do list.

A Nashville staple is now being served at Hattie's!
