Selkirk Woman’s Kindness Cabinet Helps Those in Need
When I saw this story about the Selkirk woman who turned the front of her house into a community food pantry for those in need, the first thing I thought was, "Wow, now that's a kind thing to do."   Kindness is defined as "the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate" and this checked all of the boxes.
Volunteering For A Great Cause
There are many causes that I get behind. One that I volunteer for year round is the Mechanicville-Stillwater Breast Cancer Walk. There are many events throughout the year, and I try to help out with all of them.

Little Free Pantry Comes to Schenectady
Have you ever heard of the Little Free Libraries? A little box on the side of the road where you can either take a book to read or donate one back, this is the same concept but with food. The Bellevue Reformed Church in Schenectady opened up the Capital Region's first Little Free Pantry.
