Vaping has been in the news a lot lately. Some of it is banned, some of it isn't, but it's all in reaction to kids. One local high school is taking all of that a step further.
In an effort to curb the use of tobacco products and now e-cigarettes in younger New Yorkers, the governor is hoping to raise the legal age across the state.
When they first came out, it seemed like electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) were the best of both worlds for smokers. They still could smoke but it was more accepted in public places without the smoke and smell. Now, another place is added to the list of where they're not allowed.
Because of the Clean Indoor Air Act which banned smoking in several public places, many people that smoke cigarettes have been using e-cigarettes when they’re in a restaurant or bar.
