If you have to venture through downtown Albany at any point, especially in the area of Madison Avenue and New Scotland, you're probably having the same feelings I have been: "When is this sinkhole gonna be fixed!?!"

We are each making decisions every second that we are awake and moving throughout the Capital Region and we’re allowed to make mistakes, we are human after all. But, when you’re behind the wheel of anything you need to take it seriously.

Cigarettes, e-cigs, liquid nicotine, non-tobacco Shisha, rolling papers and pipes, if you're going to buy any of 'em in Albany county soon you'll have to be 21+.

I've seen these in other areas and never realized we had one right here in the Capital Region, until now.

Maybe it was the lack of caffeine in my system, but I somehow didn't even notice that a car had driven into Bruegger's Bagel Shop! And just so we're clear, I'm not referring to the drive-thru because I don't even think they have one.

Today at 7:40 AM we will begin the "Battle Of The 'Burbs" on WGNA. * Father's who have been nominated by their kids as the smartest Dads in their town will face off in a bracket style trivia competition. One Father will emerge as the latest champion of the battle of the 'burbs and get himself $500 and tickets to a bunch country concerts at SPAC.

It was my first and only choice when deciding where I wanted to go to college. Economically it makes the most sense, their educational programs along with extra curricular activities are above par and staying local was all important to me when starting my next chapter. And now, Hudson Valley Community College has added a program that completely warms my heart.

May 31st, 1998 - I was 14 years old and still extremely frightened of thunderstorms let alone what was about to happen.

Just a typical Wednesday in the neighborhood, right? The birds are chirping, the sun is shining, the police SWAT team is storming the house down the street. Wait...huh?

I've had breakfast at The Breakfast Spot. I used to drive by it daily on my way to work. It's in my neck of the woods and a story is coming out of it you'd read on social media and think, "Wow. That's sweet, but someone probably made it up." But it really happened.
