We always take pictures of rainbows and share them on social media after it rains but those pictures could bring joy to a little boy in Cohoes.

Wow this is one of those things that makes me wonder why such a great idea has taken so long. Don't get me wrong I am so very proud of the creators at Sesame Street for adding the autistic character, "Julia". I can not think of a better vehicle to get the message out to all children that different isn't a bad thing.

In April, a new business opened up in downtown Schenectady that hired employees with special needs, which includes autism and other developmental disabilities.

Did you read that headline?  Terrible, right?  If you haven't heard the story, let's review -and tell me if you agree with the airline's decision.

I guess my word of the day is 'Hurray"!   Hurray for Puzzles Bakery and Cafe for being so forward thinking, and hurray for a hard worker and family friend, Matt Genovese.

This honestly makes me sick. I feel like I should put out some sort of warning to people before they read it, however it doesn't contain violence or sexually explicit language. No, it is far worse than anything that we as a society deem socially unacceptable. Yet to me, it is the FIRST thing we should all be condemning.

I find autism a fascinating "condition".  Or is it?  Some think of it as a deficiency of some sort.  When you see this video, it might just change your mind.

This year I've had the privilege of working with school kids and writing anti-bullying songs. After what we're seeing this year, I think I may need to write one song a day!   You'll never believe this video.  Ir sickens me to post it, but it needs to be shown.
