You may have noticed some improvements at SPAC this summer, and you will notice more improvements to your concert experience next summer.

We already love going to SPAC for shows. But if you were to think of some ways that SPAC could improve the concert going experience, I am sure shorter bathroom lines and easier access to food and drink (Beer me please!!) would be at the top of your list. According to a Daily Gazette report, upgrades for both are in the works for the 2020 season.

The report says at a SPAC board meeting last week plans were laid out to upgrade the bathrooms and renovate the concession area. The plan is to completely redo the concessions, expand the bathrooms and also add "..education and programming spaces..." that can be utilized all year long.

Work is already underway and the Gazette report says all the upgrades are expected to be completed in time for the 2020 classical season which kicks off in July. You have to imagine though that the bathroom and concession phases of this project will be ready to go for concerts as those usually kick off as early as May.

Bottom line, after some upgrades at SPAC that we saw this past summer, more will be on the way to make 2020 even better. Hopefully shorter bathroom lines and quicker access to food and drink will end up being a big part of that!
