Something You Would Only See In Upstate NY

One thing I love about living in the Capital Region and Upstate New York is the 'git 'er done' attitude everyone here has. This is a perfect example of that spirit.

Yes, that is a real photo above. And Paul Hollenbeck's caption makes it even better. At first glance, I thought this was Clark Griswold from Christmas Vacation. (Remember that tree on top of the car??)

And I know some may react saying this guys is nuts for putting his snowmobile on top his car. Potential accident waiting to happen? Yes. Unorthodox? Yes. But, it's also a little bit crazy genius right? Looking at the sled, it seems to be pretty secured on top of Paul's car. So, if safety were not an issue you have to admire Paul's effort to get that sled on top of the car. It could not have been easy! Maybe Paul has some sort of custom ramp, right?

Again, safety issues aside, i think this shows what the Upstate New York spirit is all about. You have to really LOVE winter and snowmobiling to go to these lengths to get your sled on some snow, right?

That said, Paul, next time us a trailer, ok? ;)
