Small Town Tour Live From Schaghticoke

When we opened the voting for the Small Town Tour, we had a feeling we'd hear from the folks in Schaghticoke and boy did we! With 28% of the vote, the new home of Countryfest will also be our first stop on the spring leg of the Small Town Tour. We're live at the Schag-A-Val diner right on route 40. If  you're not a local, it is pronounced SHAG not Schag.

Schaghticoke is as country as you get - with a population of almost 600 in the village, it's a great place full of some very friendly people. At one time it was a mill town, but most have all since closed. The town boasts one of best country fairs you can find every summer - the Schaghticoke Fair.
