It's hard to believe that there wasn't a store like this already in historic Cooperstown, NY. To say it is necessary is an understatement. Finally, Main Street in Cooperstown will get its very own trading card store. It will be called "Topps by Dave & Adams".

Who is Dave & Adam's?

Dave and Adam's Card World is located in Western New York and was founded in 1991. They are deemed as the largest online trading card selling in the world. They have a thirty-five thousand square foot warehouse facility near Buffalo and a retail superstore that is over forty-thousand square feet.

When Can We Expect The Store to Open?

The target date is sometime in the Spring of 2022. It will be called "Topps by Dave & Adam's. They have over one hundred years of combined experience with trading cards. The new trading card shop will allow collectors another place to go while being in historic Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame.

What Made Them Decide to Open The Shop?

Adam Martin, who is the owner of Dave and Adam's Card World had the idea:

I’ve always been a huge fan of Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame. I try to visit at least once a year. On a recent visit, I walked out of the Hall of Fame, and just a few steps from the hall there was a vacant storefront. I thought that it would be a great place to open a store. I approached Topps about it, and things moved pretty quickly from there.
