Severe Weather Is Here – It’s Nasty

After an earlier tornado watch (which Jake told us about) was posted for our area and expired, things were pretty quiet, until about 10:15 p.m. I started to receive several severe thunderstorm warnings.

They seemed to be updated every few minutes. Most areas getting hit with heavy winds, downpours, hail and a lot of lightning. Our lights were flickering in the studio and then the generator started running. Most areas, at this time (midnight) are still in a warning area until at least 1:00 a.m.

Some of our Facebook fans kept me informed of what was going on from where they lived. this included a report of a tree going through a house in Pownal, Vermont. Fortunately, she got everyone out safely.
