Schenectady Woman Faces Horrific Allegations After Infant's Death

First and foremost, I hope and pray that little 4 month old Rayen Puleski can Rest in Peace now we that police have confirmed that it was indeed his 4 month old body discovered in Schenectady last week. The truth will come out and justice will be served as no innocent child ever deserves the fate he received. With that being said, the news today from the Schenectady Police regarding the allegations against Rayen's own mother, Heaven Puleski, are downright horrifying.

According to the Daily Gazette, the allegations involve Heaven Puleski using heroin while “being responsible for the care” of Rayen last month and her intentional disposal of Rayen’s body to prevent its discovery after his death by hiding his body inside plastic bags and disposing of it in a grassy field behind an apartment building, according to police allegations filed in court.

The charges don't relate directly to Rayen’s death. The cause of the boy's death remains under investigation.

Heaven Puleski, however, faces one count each of tampering with physical evidence and concealment of a human corpse, both felonies, as well as misdemeanor child endangerment.

The charges are based on statements Puleski gave to investigators, police said in a release.
