Schenectady Named Best Food City In Upstate New York

When it comes to good eats, Schenectady is the place to go!

Maybe this article is just stating the obvious of what we know locally right? You and I know Schenectady has many great places to eat, and apparently word is spreading across the state! A book called A Taste of Upstate New York: A Guide to 40 Treasures has named the Electric City the best food city in Upstate New York. According to Albany.com, author Chuck D'Imperio highlighted Morrette's King Steak House, Ferrari's Italian Ristorante and Perreca's Bakery as places to check out in Schenectady. The only other Capital Region city to make his list? Saratoga. Here are the top 12 according to Chuck:
