Salute to Seniors: We Salute Ferne Horn

Each week we honor a Capital Region Senior who has done and continues to do great things to improve our way of life.

And this week, 107.7 GNA and American Senior Magazine honor Ferne Horn. Ferne was nominated by her friend Clarice Nichols who had many great things about this super Senior. She called Ferne a 'rockstar volunteer' who provides meals and delivers goodies to those housed by the Interfaith Partnership in Albany. She also crochet's slippers for those sheltered, and holds drives to collect warm clothing during the winter months. Plus, she also assists with fundraising efforts for the Partnerships many programs and services. Ferne, we salute you and all you do to improve the lives of your neighbors!

As our featured Senior this week, Ferne will be honored on the air and will receive a $50 gift card to a local mall and a one-year subscription to American Senior Magazine.
