Salute To Seniors: We Honor Bill Greene of Coxsackie

Our Salute To Seniors series continues as we honor Bill and his 40 years of giving back to the Capital Region!

Dad. Mentor. Teacher. Caregiver. These are just a few of the words that describe Bill Greene of Coxscakie, who was nominated by his daughter Doreen to be our featured Senior this week. Doreen tells us Bill has given back to his community in so many ways:

• Working with the Royal Rangers and Eagles to train tomorrow's leaders and teach them about the great outdoors
• Taking fathers and sons on outdoor trips to learn about the outdoors and spend quality time together
• Visiting the sick in hospitals and driving seniors to doctor appointments

Retirement has not meant sitting back for Bill; it's meant more time to help others! Bill, we salute you!

As our featured Senior this week, Bill will be honored on the air and will receive a $50 gift card to a local mall and a one-year subscription to American Senior Magazine.
